Message from Principal (Secondary Section)

Hello everyone,

Smt.Kanataben Chandulal Gandhi English School, is one of the best school in Kalyan. Our school is known for serving the needs of all strata of society. The secondary section of our school is a co-educational day school which is affiliated to the State Board of Maharashtra and is AIDED. Each standard has five divisions having on an average sixty students in each class.

The school gives special importance to all round development of each student taking into account the traits of each student taking into account the traits of each student. In addition to academic pursuits, excellence in other fields is also given equal importance, be it CULTURAL or SPORTS. A team of excellent staff enables the smooth functioning of the institution. Our school owns an excellent E-Learning system to enable teachers teach effectively.

A host of competitions are conducted at the school level as ESSAY, WRITING,ELOCUTION, HANDWRITING in all the three languages, Drawing, General Knowledge, Quiz, etc. Competitions beyond school such as Olympiads, NELTA’s and Marathon’s etc, help the students to assess their calibre at the National, State & District levels. The school imparts special coaching to students appearing for Scholarship Examination [Std V and Std VIII], National Talent Search Examination, Elementary and Intermediate Examination.

The HRD department caters to problems of students-academic, behavioural or personal problems. Students with learning disabilities are diagnosed and are helped us every possible way. Many students of our school have made us proud many a times.

The school has installed cameras to ensure the security of the staff and the students. The school is also equipped with laboratories- PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY,BIOLOGY,COMPUTER. Our rich library is one of the important ornament of school. It consists around 25,000 books.
